The draw for the Round of 32 in the 6th edition of the FUFA Women’s Cup will take place on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at FUFA House, starting at 10:00 am.
A total of 32 teams will be part of the draw, divided into two pots based on their league status.
Pot A consists of 12 teams from the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League and the top two teams from each group in the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Elite League, making a total of 16 teams.
Pot B features the remaining 10 teams from the FUFA Women Elite League alongside six regional teams.
Among the notable teams in Pot A are Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC, Kampala Queens FC, She Corporate FC and Lady Doves FC.
Pot B includes strong contenders such as UCU Lady Cardinals FC, Busoga Queens FC, and Jinja City Queens FC, all of whom will be aiming to upset the top-tier teams.
The FUFA Women’s Cup has grown in stature over the years, providing a platform for young talent while also offering clubs across different divisions a chance to compete for silverware.
The competition will continue in a straight elimination format until the final, with dates and venues for the matches to be confirmed after the draw.
