Hamza Lutalo has been appointed as the head coach of Victoria University’s football team.
With a wealth of experience from various institutions, he is expected to make a significant impact on the team’s performance.
Victoria University, which competes in the University Football League, has been struggling recently. However, there is renewed hope that Lutalo can turn things around.
Well known for his expertise in institutional football, Lutalo has coached teams such as the Uganda Cubs (U17 national team) and Kampala Queens Women’s Football Club.
His coaching career has been marked by success, including winning the FUFA Women’s Super League with Kampala Queens and securing multiple trophies with Uganda’s U17 boys’ team at different levels.
Speaking about his new role, Lutalo expressed confidence in his ability to transform the team.
“I am very ready to change the institution’s face when it comes to football,” he said.
Victoria University will face Makerere University tomorrow at Hamz Stadium in a crucial University Football League match.
