Ugandan left-back Ibrahim Juma has signed with Ukrainian Premier League club FC Rukh Lviv as a free agent, marking a significant step in his career.
Juma, known for his defensive prowess, previously played for CD Leganés B in Spain.
His professional journey began at Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) in Uganda, where he quickly established himself.
In January 2023, he joined CD Leganés B on loan, the reserve team of the Spanish Segunda División club.
Juma returned to KCCA in August 2024, amidst changes to the team’s lineup, including the signing of Isa Mubiru, who was set to compete for the left-back position.
Juma has also represented Uganda at the U17 and U20 levels.
FC Rukh Lviv, founded in 2003 and based in Lviv, Ukraine, has been steadily climbing the ranks of Ukrainian football.
Juma’s transfer offers him an opportunity to develop further and make an impact in a competitive Eastern European league.
