Crystal Palace Cruise Past Fulham to Reach FA Cup Semi-Finals

Crystal Palace delivered an impressive performance at Craven Cottage on Saturday, securing a 3-0 victory over Fulham in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

The result extends Palace’s winning streak to five matches across all competitions and ensures their place in the semi-finals for the first time since 2022.

Despite Fulham’s dominance in the opening 30 minutes, Rodrigo Muniz came closest to scoring for the home side, but the Eagles weathered the early pressure.

Eberechi Eze broke the deadlock in the 34th minute, curling a stunning low shot past Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno. Eze then turned provider just four minutes later, delivering a pinpoint cross for Ismaila Sarr to head in Palace’s second goal.

While Fulham attempted to rally in the second half, including a strong effort from Willian that forced Dean Henderson into a save, they struggled to create clear chances. Eddie Nketiah sealed Palace’s triumph in the 75th minute with a composed finish through Leno’s legs.

Manager Oliver Glasner’s disciplined 3-4-2-1 formation proved effective in stifling Fulham’s attack and capitalizing on counter-attacking opportunities. Glasner’s leadership continues to fuel Palace’s resurgence, having transformed their early-season struggles into a promising campaign.

Fulham, managed by Marco Silva in his milestone 500th game, missed critical chances in the opening stages and failed to recover once Palace took control. Though they remain just three points shy of a Champions League spot in the league, the defeat at home with Wembley on the line is sure to sting.
