Rogers Mato Brace Seals Vardar Win Over Pelister

Uganda Cranes forward Rogers Mato played a starring role as FK Vardar Skopje secured a crucial 3-1 victory over FK Pelister Bitola in the Macedonian First League on Saturday.

Vardar fell behind early in the match after Pelister’s Vlatko Kerim opened the scoring in the 10th minute.

However, Goran Zakarić leveled from the penalty spot in the 20th minute, ensuring the teams went into halftime tied at 1-1.

Mato made his presence felt in the second half, breaking the deadlock in the 76th minute before sealing the win with another goal seven minutes later.

His clinical finishing ensured Vardar secured their ninth league win of the season, moving them above Pelister in the standings.

Mato’s performance further cements his growing influence at the club, with the Ugandan forward proving to be a key asset in their push for a strong finish this season.
