Arsenal Cruise Past Ipswich to Delay Liverpool’s Title Celebrations

Arsenal delivered a commanding performance at Portman Road, beating 10-man Ipswich Town 4-0 to delay Liverpool’s Premier League title celebrations.

Fresh off their Champions League semi-final qualification, the Gunners showcased their form and intent, dominating from the first whistle against a struggling Ipswich side.

Leandro Trossard opened the scoring in the 14th minute, converting Bukayo Saka’s cross with a slight touch from Martin Odegaard.

Arsenal doubled their lead shortly after, with Saka once again instrumental, setting up Mikel Merino, who flicked the ball for Gabriel Martinelli to tap into an empty net.

Ipswich’s hopes of a comeback were dashed in the 32nd minute when Leif Davis was sent off for a reckless challenge on Saka.

With a numerical advantage, Arsenal added a third through Trossard’s composed finish in the 69th minute following a well-rehearsed short corner.

Young substitute Ethan Nwaneri capped the victory late on, with his deflected effort finding the back of the net two minutes from full time.

Despite additional chances for Saka and Merino, Arsenal settled for four goals in a dominant display.
