CAF Partners with Africa Global Logistics for AFCON 2025 and WAFCON 2026

CAF has announced a renewed strategic partnership with Africa Global Logistics (AGL), appointing the logistics operator as the Official Logistics Partner for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 and the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) Morocco 2026.

The agreement was formalized on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at a signing ceremony in Johannesburg attended by CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe and AGL President Philippe Labonne. The deal builds on the success of their previous collaboration during the 2023 AFCON in Côte d’Ivoire.

“CAF is delighted to once more establish a partnership with AGL,” said Dr. Motsepe. “AGL is a leading logistics company and its partnership with CAF reflects the substantial commitment by both parties to the development and growth of football for men and women in Africa.”

AFCON, one of the most-watched sporting events in the world with an estimated 1.5 billion viewers across 178 countries, will benefit from AGL’s extensive logistics network and capabilities.

AGL, which operates in 47 African countries, will support the delivery of both tournaments through sustainable and innovative logistics solutions.

In his remarks, Labonne emphasized the wider impact of the partnership.

“We aim to support the successful organization of major tournaments like AFCON and WAFCON, and also to transform African football into a lasting driver of economic and social development,” he said.

“Thanks to our partnership with CAF, we celebrate the passion of millions of Africans for football while reinforcing our commitment to local content, engaging with communities, and promoting women’s inclusion.”

The partnership also signals an increased focus on women’s football. Through its sponsorship of WAFCON 2026, AGL is supporting CAF’s efforts to enhance gender equality in sports and promote the growth of the women’s game on the continent.

CAF and AGL highlighted their shared vision of using football as a vehicle for sustainable development, economic growth, and social transformation across Africa.

The partnership is expected to create job opportunities, stimulate local economies, and strengthen infrastructure in host nations.
