Busoga United head coach Charles Ayiekoh believes that Buhimba United Saints have all it takes to qualify to the Uganda Premier League.
The thumbs-up came after seeing his side fall to the Kikuube-based side 1-0 over the weekend courtesy of Wesley Kisakye’s goal in the opening 20 minutes.
“I want to salute Buhimba Saints for their organization because you could see an organised team and I think they deserve to go to the premier league,” he noted before unveiling Busoga United’s season target.
“Our target as Busoga United is to stay in the FUFA Big league and we will regroup next season because we did not start well. Against Buhimba, we lost 1-0 but the boys put up a good performance only that we were lousy upfront,” he noted.

With six games to go, Buhimba lead the table with 41 points, two above second placed Blacks Power and four better of third placed Gaddafi.
Busoga who were relegated last season are 4th from the foot with a point off survival.
The top three sides earn direct promotion to the top flight while the bottom four get relegated to respective regional leagues.
