BUL assistant coach Simeon Masaba is still carrying hopes of winning this season’s StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
The former Uganda Cranes right back was on the bench for suspended head coach Abbey Bogere Kikomeko as BUL whipped Lugazi 4-0 on Tuesday at the FUFA Technical center in Njeru.
“I want to thank all the players because they played on instructions. We have been improving game by game and we had to play well for our fans to enjoy the game. The win means that we are still in the race, we can win the cup and if we do not lose, we can get a better position,” noted Masaba.

Veteran Abdul Karim Ndugwa scored a brace before Ibrahim Orit and Hillary Onek sealed the 4-0 rout as the Eastern side completed a season double over the premier league debutants.
BUL are third with 49 points, five below second placed NEC and 13 shy of leaders Vipers while Lugazi are 11th with 31 points as they strive to stay afloat in their debut topflight season.
