Inter Milan edged closer to the Serie A title, beating Torino 2-0 in a match disrupted by a medical emergency and a thunderstorm.
Nicola Zalewski’s stunning strike and a Kristjan Asllani penalty secured the win, despite a lengthy half-time delay due to heavy rain. Torino had a late goal disallowed.
Meanwhile, leaders Napoli dropped two points in a 2-2 draw with Genoa, leaving them just one point ahead of Inter with two games remaining.
A title play-off will decide the winner if they finish level on points.
Inter’s win follows their dramatic Champions League semi-final victory over Barcelona.
