Real Madrid have signed Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen, 20, activating his £50 million release clause.
The deal, announced by both clubs, will see the Dutch-born Spain international join the LaLiga side on June 1st on a five-year contract until 2030.
Huijsen’s move ensures his eligibility for next month’s Club World Cup in the USA.
Real Madrid reportedly beat several top European clubs to the highly-rated centre-back, who impressed in his 34 appearances and three goals for Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth after joining last year.
Huijsen also made his Spain debut against the Netherlands in March.
