Mamelodi Sundowns finished their Betway Premiership home campaign with a perfect 14 wins after defeating Magesi 2-0 at Loftus Versfeld on Sunday.
Lucas Ribeiro scored twice as the already crowned champions broke the record for most wins in a PSL season (24), surpassing the previous best of 23.
Ribeiro’s goals also secured him the Golden Boot with 16 strikes.
Magesi’s five-game unbeaten streak ended, but they need just one point from their final two matches to ensure top-flight survival.
Sundowns now shift focus to their CAF Champions League final first leg against Pyramids on May 24, while Magesi face Marumo Gallants on the same day in a crucial relegation battle.
