Jack Grealish’s future at Manchester City is uncertain, with manager Pep Guardiola confirming a decision will be made at season’s end.
Grealish has seen reduced playing time since City’s 2023 treble win, making only seven Premier League starts this term and remaining on the bench for Saturday’s FA Cup final loss.
Guardiola stated discussions will involve outgoing director Txiki Begiristain, his successor Hugo Viana, and Grealish’s agents.
“What is going to happen will happen, but he has to come back to start to play minutes again,” Guardiola said, acknowledging Grealish’s likely unhappiness with his lack of action.
Meanwhile, City prepares for Kevin De Bruyne’s departure. The midfielder will make his final home appearance on Tuesday, ending a glorious decade at the Etihad with 16 trophies.
Guardiola believes the time is right for De Bruyne to move on, citing recent injuries and reduced effectiveness.
