Lugazi FC has completed the signing of Uganda Cranes skipper Savio Kabugo on a two-year employment contract. The club announced on their website how excited they are about this new contract, saying “Kabugo brings a wealth of experience and a burning desire to contribute to the club’s ambitions.”
The Uganda Cranes defender parted ways with his former club, Jwaneng Galaxy, in October of last year and has since been out of football action as he embarked on his personal training.
According to the club website, Savio Kabugo stated in a press conference, “This is a truly special moment in my career, and I cannot express how privileged I feel to be part of this exceptional journey.”
Kabugo has experience playing for some of Uganda’s top teams, including KCCA FC, URA FC, SC Villa, and Proline FC.
