Real Madrid has completed the signing of 17-year-old Argentine sensation Franco Mastantuono from River Plate for a reported 45 million euros (£38.5m), a record sale for the Argentine club.
The attacking midfielder, already Argentina’s youngest competitive debutant and River Plate’s youngest derby scorer, will join Real on his 18th birthday, August 14th.
Mastantuono is Real’s third summer signing, following Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dean Huijsen, aligning with manager Xabi Alonso’s vision for a “new era” at the club.
