Wydad AC Supporter Becomes One Millionth Fan at FIFA Club World Cup 2025

A historic milestone was reached at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 during the clash between Juventus and Wydad at Lincoln Financial Field.

The match marked the moment the tournament welcomed its one millionth fan through the turnstiles, a special title that now belongs to Rachida Elomari, a young Wydad AC supporter from Virginia.

For Rachida, this was more than just a football match. It was a dream fulfilled.

“My parents told me two years ago that Wydad would be playing in the US, and I’ve been waiting ever since,” she said.

“This is the first time I’ve ever been to a stadium, and I was so excited to finally see my team play live. I wanted to support them with all my might!”

Rachida, who lives in the United States but proudly supports her Moroccan club, explained how the expanded Club World Cup format gave fans like her a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

“The tournament lets families like ours see our team without flying across the world.”

“It’s such a great experience, especially with so many top clubs in one place.”

She also added that she enjoys playing football herself, describing it as a sport that brings fun, fitness, and focus.

“Football is so popular in my country, and it’s really fun, keeps us healthy, and away from trouble.”

A Tournament for the Fans

Fans have played a central role in the success of this new 32-team tournament, which is being held across 12 world-class venues in the United States.

The atmosphere in stadiums, and across host cities, has been electric, drawing spectators from all corners of the globe.

So far, over 1,094,000 fans have attended the first 30 matches of the competition, averaging 36,490 attendees per game.

The top five matchday crowds so far include.

  • 80,619 – Paris Saint-Germain vs Atlético de Madrid (Rose Bowl, Los Angeles)
  • 70,248 – Real Madrid vs CF Pachuca (Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte)
  • 63,587 – Bayern Munich vs Boca Juniors (Hard Rock Stadium, Miami)
  • 62,415 – Real Madrid vs Al Hilal (Hard Rock Stadium, Miami)
  • 60,927 – Al Ahly vs Inter Miami (Hard Rock Stadium, Miami)

More Still to Come

With 31 matches remaining after June 22, there’s plenty of world-class action still to enjoy.

Fans can purchase tickets now at FIFA.com/tickets.

For those unable to attend in person, DAZN, the tournament’s global broadcast partner, is streaming every match live and free around the world, making this a truly global celebration of club football.
