The White House is set to host an unprecedented Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) event next year, marking a unique part of America’s 250th-anniversary celebrations.
President Donald Trump announced the plan at a rally in Iowa, stating that UFC President Dana White will organize the “championship fight” on the White House grounds, expecting 20,000-25,000 attendees.
While the UFC hasn’t officially confirmed, Dana White shared Trump’s announcement on social media, calling it “epic.”
The UFC’s Instagram also posted the video, asking fans for headline suggestions.
This move highlights the close ties between Trump and White, with the President having frequently attended UFC events.
