Laban Tibita says he feels right at home at URA after signing a two-year contract extension that will keep him at the club until June 2027.
The midfielder, who joined the Tax Collectors from Busoga United in 2023, expressed gratitude to club management for the renewed faith, calling the new deal a fresh source of motivation.
“I’m really happy to extend my stay at URA FC. I feel at home here and thankful to the management, coaches, and my teammates for believing in me again,” Tibita said after putting pen to paper.
“This renewal is another motivation for me to work harder, help the team win trophies, and improve on my own numbers in the next two years.”
Since arriving in Nakawa, Tibita has become a crucial creative outlet for coach Alex Isabirye’s side.
Over two seasons, he has racked up 10 assists and scored 7 goals, making himself a dependable figure in both the league and cup campaigns.
URA CEO Allan Munaaba praised Tibita for his attitude and consistency, calling him a player who embodies the club’s values.
