Wolverhampton Wanderers has posthumously inducted Diogo Jota into the club’s Hall of Fame following his tragic death in a car accident earlier this month.
Jota was a crucial player in Wolves’ 2018 Premier League promotion before joining Liverpool in 2020.
Matt Wild, Wolves’ director of football administration, stated, “Diogo was not only a phenomenal footballer, but someone who carried himself with humility and kindness… and will be sorely missed.”
He now joins club legends like Billy Wright and Steve Bull in the Hall of Fame, a lasting tribute to his significant impact at Molineux.
