Lando Norris is hoping to etch his name in McLaren’s history books by securing the team’s 200th Formula 1 victory at this weekend’s Hungarian Grand Prix.
The milestone comes 57 years after Bruce McLaren earned the team’s first win in 1968.
Since then, a host of legendary drivers, including Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost, and Lewis Hamilton, have contributed to McLaren’s impressive win tally.
With eight wins to his name, Norris is determined to be the one to clinch the significant 200th victory.
“200 is a big achievement for the team,” he said, expressing his pride in being part of a squad with such a rich legacy.
