BUL Part Ways With Mayanja, Tezikya, and Tohomera After Contract Expiries

BUL have confirmed the departure of Anthony Mayanja, Benon Tohomera, and Lawrence Tezikya following the expiry of their contracts.

The trio played key roles in the club’s recent successes, including back-to-back Uganda Premier League Super Eight titles in 2023 and 2024. Their exits mark the end of an important chapter for the Eastern Giants.

Mayanja, a forward, joined BUL from Busoga United ahead of the 2022/23 season. Tezikya, a striker, arrived from Vipers SC in 2023/24, while defender Tohomera signed from Kyetume in the same campaign.

All three players were also part of the squad that helped maintain BUL’s strong domestic presence since their 2021/22 Stanbic Uganda Cup triumph.

In a statement, the club thanked the players for their service, highlighting their commitment and contributions both on and off the pitch.
