Taddeo Lwanga says rejoining Vipers SC is a “full-circle moment” and a chance to chase more silverware with the club he once called home.
The 31-year-old midfielder, who signed a one-year deal with an option to extend, said his decision was driven by a desire to compete at the highest level and contribute both on and off the pitch.
“I’m proud to have signed again for Vipers SC,” Lwanga said after putting pen to paper.
“I want to compete, push for titles, and contribute both on and off the pitch. This is a full-circle moment for me and I’m grateful to come back to a place l called home. I’m ready to go again and play in front of our amazing fans at St Mary’s stadium.”
Lwanga returns to Kitende after stints in Egypt, Tanzania, Djibouti, and Rwanda, where he collected league titles and international experience. He believes his leadership and winning mentality will boost Vipers as they defend their domestic double and target progress in the CAF Champions League.
“I’ve grown as a player and as a person over the past few years,” he said. “I’m here to bring that experience to help the team achieve its goals.”
