Barcelona manager Hansi Flick is “not happy” that new signing Marcus Rashford remains unregistered for the new season, which begins this weekend.
La Liga’s financial regulations are preventing the Spanish champions from signing players, as their spending last season exceeded their revenue.
The club has been working to free up salary space, including a medical leave agreement with goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen and the departure of defender Iñigo Martinez.
However, these measures have not yet been enough to register Rashford or defender Joao Garcia.
Flick acknowledged the difficult situation but maintained his belief in the club’s ability to resolve it.
