Buhimba United Saints have confirmed the signing of striker Conrad Ssenjogera from Express on a two-year deal, strengthening their frontline ahead of their debut campaign in the Uganda Premier League.
The 22-year-old forward has built a reputation as a clinical finisher, having scored five goals in seven appearances last season for Express, including a brace in a 2-1 win against Bright Stars.
Before joining Express, Ssenjogera featured for Ntugasaze FC and Karuguuza United FC, where he first showcased his attacking instincts.
Speaking after sealing the move, Ssenjogera said he was eager to make his mark in Buhimba’s historic first season in the top flight.
“I’m thrilled to join Buhimba United Saints and aim to achieve more, making my mom proud. My target is simple: score goals and win with the team.”
Club president Ahuura Julius welcomed the arrival, describing Ssenjogera as a player with the potential to lift the team.
“We’re looking forward to seeing Conrad’s impact on the pitch. He has the quality and drive to be a game-changer for us.”
The Saints are counting on Ssenjogera’s sharpness in front of goal to help them settle quickly into Premier League football.
