Nottingham Forest have signed Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz on a season-long loan from Juventus, with an option to make the deal permanent.
The 27-year-old returns to the Premier League just one year after his £42.35 million move to Italy from Aston Villa.
Luiz, who made 204 appearances for Villa, said he was drawn to Forest’s “ambition.”
This signing is the latest in a series of major transfers for the club, which has now spent roughly £140 million on seven new players this summer as it prepares for the Europa League.
