Newcastle United’s search for a new striker has hit another snag. The club’s substantial £50m offer for striker Jorgen Strand Larsen was rejected by Wolves.
The Norwegian forward, who was just made a permanent Wolves player, is considered “a very important player” by manager Vitor Pereira.
This follows Newcastle’s previously failed attempts to sign Brentford’s Yoane Wissa, who is now expected to stay with his club.
