Galatasaray are in discussions with Tottenham over a potential loan deal for defensive midfielder Yves Bissouma, who has yet to play for Spurs this season.
The 28-year-old Mali international was excluded from the squad for the Uefa Super Cup against Paris St-Germain due to persistent lateness.
Bissouma has also been unavailable for Spurs’ first two Premier League matches, a win against Burnley and a 2-0 victory over Manchester City, due to injury.
Bissouma, who joined Tottenham from Brighton in 2022 for £25 million, has made 100 appearances for the club. He started in Spurs’ 1-0 Europa League final win over Manchester United in May.
The potential move comes after Spurs signed Portugal international Joao Palhinha on loan from Bayern Munich this summer.
Palhinha has already made an impact, scoring in the recent victory against Manchester City.
