The Uganda Cup Round 64 draws happened on Monday at Sheraton Hotel. Teams from Uganda Premier League and FUFA Big League faced off against lower division sides. FUFA Executive Committee Member Rogers Mulindwa and Director of Competitions Hajati Aisha Nalule, along with football legends Isma Kirungi and John Baptist Luboga, attended the event. It marked the 50th edition.
Mulindwa emphasized FUFA’s commitment to organizing a top-notch tournament, acknowledging sponsors like Plascon. Out of the 312 teams in the preliminaries, 33 join the top two tiers’ 31 teams, making it a total of 64.
Defending champions Vipers will play against Lugazi Stars FC, and Premier League and Big League teams will play their first fixtures away from January 18th to 31st, 2024.
