This time next week, the first phase of ticket sales for the FIFA World Cup 26 will open with the Visa Presale Draw, giving fans their first opportunity to secure seats at what promises to be the biggest FIFA World Cup yet.
Fans planning to attend this historic tournament should register their interest and create a FIFA ID at FIFA.com/tickets if they haven’t already. By registering, fans will be notified about key ticketing dates and guided through the sales process.
The Visa Presale Draw entry period opens at 11:00 ET (17:00 CET) on Wednesday, 10 September, and closes at the same time on Friday, 19 September. Thanks to FIFA’s Official Payment Technology Partner, qualifying Visa cardholders can log in during this window using their FIFA ID to enter the draw (subject to terms and conditions). As the exclusive payment provider for the first sales phase, Visa will ensure a fast, secure, and seamless checkout experience.

The Visa Presale Draw is subject to the Official Rules available at FIFA.com/tickets. Fans must be 18 or older to enter, and no purchase is necessary. The timing of a fan’s entry does not impact their chances of success. Following the randomized draw, successful applicants will be notified via email from 29 September and assigned a date and time slot to purchase tickets, beginning 1 October (subject to availability).
At the start of sales, single-match tickets for all 104 matches will be available, alongside venue-specific and team-specific packages. Prices start at USD 60 for group-stage matches, with premium seats for the Final priced at up to USD 6,730.
To manage high demand, ticket sales will be conducted in phases. Fans who are not eligible for the Visa Presale Draw, are unsuccessful in the draw, or wish to make additional purchases will have further opportunities:
Phase 2: Early Ticket Draw – Registration 27–31 October; purchase windows from mid-November to early December.
Phase 3: Random Selection Draw – Following the Final Draw for FIFA World Cup 26.
Final Phase: First-Come, First-Served – Closer to the tournament, for remaining inventory.
Additional products such as supporter tickets (grouped by fanbase) and conditional supporter tickets (for knockout-stage contingencies) will also be made available closer to the event. Later this year, FIFA will launch a secure official resale platform at FIFA.com/tickets to safeguard fans against unauthorized resales. Mexican residents will have access to a dedicated FIFA Ticket Exchange Platform.
Hospitality packages, which include match tickets, are already available at FIFA.com/hospitality. FIFA strongly encourages fans to only purchase tickets through official channels.
