Barcola Brace Lifts PSG to Comfortable Victory Over Lens

Paris St-Germain maintained their perfect start to the Ligue 1 season with a 2-0 victory over Lens on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at the Parc des Princes.

The win, witnessed by an attendance of 47,642, sends PSG back to the top of the table.

French forward Bradley Barcola was the star of the match, scoring both goals and continuing his impressive form with his third goal in two games.

His first came in the 15th minute with a curling finish from 20 yards out. He doubled the lead six minutes into the second half with another long-range effort after cutting in from the left. Both goals were assisted by Vitinha.

The victory, however, was marred by injuries to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Lee Kang-in, and Lucas Beraldo, which will be a concern for manager Luis Enrique as his side prepares to defend their Champions League title.

PSG now leads the table, with Lille two points behind and Lyon a point further back. PSG’s next challenge is their Champions League opener against Atalanta on Wednesday at the Parc des Princes.
