Kampala Club will host one of Uganda’s biggest squash gatherings when the 2025 Kinyara Sugar Invitational Squash Tournament serves off from September 22 to 27.
The six–day championship will feature 100 players from Uganda and Kenya competing for top honors and a share of UGX 8 million in prize money. Cash rewards will be on offer from the quarterfinal stage onward, adding extra edge to a week of intense action.
Uganda’s leading names—Paul Kadoma, Ivan Wasswa, Jonathan Wagemire, and Elizabeth Musimenta—headline the home lineup as they aim to keep the trophy on local soil. They face a tough challenge from visiting Kenyan standouts James Dalidi, Joseph Sean, and Jane Njeri, promising fans a high–level contest from start to finish.
Organizers say the tournament is expected to deliver a mix of passion, pride, and top–class squash, making it a must–see for the sport’s growing fan base.
