Contest for the Overall Series Title:
For the women’s series, all Thunderbirds need to be crowned champions is feature in the Buffaloes 7s.
It is a bit more complicated in the men’s series. Buffaloes need both their success (winning the Cup Final) and Walukuba’s failure (getting knocked out before the semifinals) to stand a chance.
The Battle for Survival:
One women’s team and two men’s teams will be relegated at the end of the series. As it stands, both competitions have three teams in the scrap.
She Wolves, Black Pearls and Nile Rapids are separated by two points in the women’s competition.
Gulu City Falcons are stuck at the bottom of the men’s competition but the second-last position is too close to call between Elgon Wolves and Eagles.
