Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard is expected to miss action until after the November international break due to a medial collateral ligament (MCL) injury in his knee.
The 26-year-old midfielder was injured during the win against West Ham on 4 October.
His absence is a major blow for manager Mikel Arteta, as Odegaard will miss upcoming Premier League matches against Fulham, Crystal Palace, Burnley, and Sunderland, as well as Champions League fixtures against Atletico Madrid and Slavia Prague.
The derby against Tottenham on 23 November is the target date for his potential return.
