Namuwongo Blazers have arrived in Tanzania ahead of their historic debut in the Road to Basketball Africa League (BAL) tournament.
The Ugandan side will compete in Group A alongside hosts Dar City and Comoros’ Djabal Club from October 17 to 19.
This marks a major milestone for the Kampala-based club, which is set to make its first appearance on the continental stage.
The Blazers are aiming for a strong showing as they chase qualification to the Elite 16 phase in November, the next step toward the main BAL competition.
The Road to BAL serves as Africa’s premier club qualifying series, organized by FIBA Africa and supported by the NBA.
It brings together top teams from across the continent, all vying for a chance to feature in the Basketball Africa League.
