The Lady Dolphins started strong, edging the first quarter 11-6. However, the JT Lady Jaguars responded well, taking a narrow second-quarter lead at 18-17. JKL regained control through experience and composure to lead 28-24 at halftime.

The Lady Dolphins maintained their rhythm in the second half, with Hope Agnes Akello standing out after posting a game-high 16 points, 21 rebounds, and 4 assists. Her dominance on both ends helped JKL hold a 38-32 lead in the third quarter before sealing the win in the fourth.

Ekone Brenda added 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists, while Angella Zainah Lokwameri contributed 6 points. For JT, Sarah Ageno and Aziida Nabayunga managed 7 points each, while Sandra Ayikoru Wangeshi added 6. The Lady Dolphins looked determined to make amends after dropping Game 1 in the best-of-seven series.

Meanwhile, in the men’s category, the City Oilers defeated the Nam Blazers 90-83 to take a 2-0 lead in the Men’s NBL finals. In a tightly contested Game 2, the Oilers edged the first quarter 24-23 and extended their advantage to 43-39 at halftime.

Despite losing the third quarter, the ten-time defending champions bounced back strongly in the fourth to seal victory. New signing Kurt Curry Wegscheider led the way with a game-high 37 points and 8 rebounds. Jordan Bowie Chad added 16 points and 6 assists, while veteran Ben Komakech chipped in with 9 points and 5 rebounds.

For the Nam Blazers, Innocent Ochera delivered 23 points, while Anthony Chukwubuka Chukwurah posted 17 points, 14 rebounds, and 3 assists. Jimmy Enabu contributed 11 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists as the Blazers led 69-64 at the end of the third quarter before the Oilers rallied late to claim the win.
