UTTA President Mr. Cyrus Mark Muwanga emphasized the association’s commitment to excellence in choosing its partner.

“In our new presidency, we decided to elevate the Uganda Open Table Tennis Championship 2025 to the highest standards. To do that, we needed a partner that reflects excellence. Kabojja International School is one of the best schools in Uganda, and we are proud to associate with them.”

The partnership is aimed at helping to develop and grow the Table Tennis Sport in Uganda.

Kabojja’s leadership, including Principal/CEO Sam Turya and Director Owek. Ahmed Lwasa, reaffirmed the school’s deep-seated dedication to sports as an integral part of its educational philosophy.

“Sports are not just extracurricular activities—they are essential to character development, discipline, and mental wellness,” the leadership stated.

The school maintains that students must be active, engaged, and exposed to opportunities that build resilience and teamwork.

Kabojja has demonstrated this commitment through significant investments in sports infrastructure, including a football pitch and multi-sport facilities.

Principal/CEO Sam Turya acknowledged potential logistical challenges but views them as opportunities for the school to grow and adapt, ensuring students benefit from real-world experiences.

The Uganda Open Table Tennis Championship 2025 is scheduled to take place on December 6th and 7th.
