The Corporate Social Responsibility outing of the Corporate Games, held today at the NEC Grounds in Bugolobi, saw participating companies give back to the community through various service initiatives.
More than 40 companies took part, offering free medical care, financial literacy sessions, and product sales promotions among other community development activities. The initiative aimed to empower residents while strengthening ties between businesses and the public.
As this year’s edition reached its climax, participants also engaged in football, handball, netball, boxing, and sack racing, all designed to promote wellness and encourage a healthy lifestyle.
Corporate Games Vice Chairman Richard Okot highlighted the importance of the event, saying, “We have themed outings, and this year participants competed with purpose. We call upon all companies to join the Corporate Games to promote team building and networking among employees.”
Following last month’s Corporate Run, which attracted over 4,000 runners, the season will conclude with a dinner next month to foster networking and stronger partnerships across various sectors.
