Austin Reaves added 25 points and eight assists, while Deandre Ayton chipped in 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Lakers. The team dominated the glass (47-39) and hit 13 three-pointers.
Despite 32 points and 10 rebounds from star Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks couldn’t recover from poor first-half shooting (10-for-41). Doncic celebrated the win, noting the team’s energy despite playing a back-to-back.
Meanwhile, the NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder kept rolling, improving their league-best record to 13-1 behind 33 points from MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in a win over Charlotte.
In Cleveland, Donovan Mitchell scored 14 of his 30 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Cavaliers to a 108-100 rally win over the Memphis Grizzlies.
