With the Season Four finale set for 26 December at the Lugogi Indoor Arena, the contest in the Minimum and Flyweight divisions has narrowed to a straight fight between the top pairs in each category.
In the Minimum Weight class, Kato Kazibwe of Kololo and Ochan Geoffrey of UPDF remain level after three wins each.
Both sit on 9 points and have been the most consistent performers in the division, controlling their bouts with clean technique and steady pace. Their head-to-head race has shaped the season and will define the closing weeks.
Behind them, Ssekyanzi Charles of Lukanga and Gideon’s Kakande Bruno face a steep climb after early setbacks that have left them needing perfect finishes to stay competitive.
The picture is similar in the Flyweight division. Brawn’s Matovu Livingstone and COBAP’s Kimera Moses are locked at 3 and 0 with 9 points each.
Their speed and accuracy have set the benchmark in the 51kg class and pushed the rest of the field into catch-up mode.
Army’s Golola Umar and UPDF’s Abdul Hakim enter the final stretch seeking to reset their seasons after slow starts, with Hakim still on 0 points following losses and penalties.
All remaining bouts will air live on NBS Sport and stream on Afromobile as the league moves toward its 26 December finish.
