The International Boxing Association (IBA) has unveiled the 2025 IBA Men’s Elite World Championships, set for December 2-13 at the Dubai Tennis Stadium, as the headliner of a spectacular two-week “Festival of Boxing.”
The championship will feature an unprecedented $8 million total prize pool, making it the richest event in the sport’s history. Winners in each weight category will receive a staggering $300,000.
IBA President Umar Kremlev stated the commitment underscores the organization’s dedication to rewarding excellence: “Dubai will become the capital of boxing this December… The IBA exists to protect boxers, to create opportunities and to ensure that the sport remains a force for unity and fairness.”
The prize money will be shared among the boxer (50%), their coaches (25%), and their National Federation (25%), recognizing their collective contribution.
The broader “Festival of Boxing” will also include the IBA Global Boxing Forum, a Pro Event, and the IBA Congress, welcoming fighters from all nations in a display of global unity and elite competition.
