Draws for the 2027 men’s Rugby World Cup pools in Australia were held in Sydney on Wednesday afternoon.
Rugby Africa Cup champions Zimbabwe, who will feature at the tournament for the first time since 1991, were drawn in Pool F. They will face England, Wales and Tonga.
Pools for 2027 Men’s Rugby World Cup:
• Pool A: New Zealand, Australia, Chile, Hong Kong China.
• Pool B: South Africa, Italy, Georgia, Romania.
• Pool C: Argentina, Fiji, Spain, Canada.
• Pool D: Ireland, Scotland, Uruguay, Portugal.
• Pool E: France, Japan, USA, Samoa.
• Pool F: England, Wales, Tonga, Zimbabwe.
Rugby fans in Zimbabwe were hosted at a watch party in Harare and welcomed the news of the draws with excitement.
Meanwhile, four-time and current world champions South Africa are in Pool B with Italy, Georgia and Romania.
Fixtures and the full match schedule will be announced on February 3, 2026.
