The Uganda Cranes have arrived in Casablanca and become the first team to land in Morocco ahead of the TotalEnergies AFCON 2025 finals that start on December 21.
The squad touched down on Sunday evening and settled into their base in Casablanca, where they will conduct their full preparatory program.
Head coach Paul Put and the travelling contingent from Entebbe linked up with part of the technical team, while the remaining players are expected to join in stages as their clubs release them during the FIFA window.
The group will open training later today as the coaches begin assembling the full squad for the tournament.
Uganda will use the eleven day camp to work on fitness, tactical shape, and match sharpness before their opening game. The Cranes are also expected to play two preparatory games during that period.
The Cranes start their AFCON campaign against Tunisia on December 23.
