Byaruhanga Abdallah has been awarded a gold medal and a fully sponsored trip to Morocco to watch the Uganda Cranes at the Africa Cup of Nations following his energetic support at the East African Inter Parliamentary Games.
The recognition was handed out by the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Thomas Tayebwa, who praised Byaruhanga’s visible passion and tireless presence throughout the tournament.
His enthusiasm in the stands became one of the standout off field stories of the Games, drawing national attention.
Alongside the medal, Byaruhanga received an all expenses paid trip to Morocco, where he will support the Uganda Cranes at AFCON, turning a long held personal dream into reality.
Speaking after the reward, an emotional Byaruhanga credited NBS SPORT and Parliament for the moment.
“Thank you NBS SPORT for supporting me and giving me a platform that has finally paid me off. It has always been my dream to travel to Morocco, and finally God has done it for me,” says Byaruhanga.
