Professional female boxer Nabasumba Grace is preparing for her upcoming showdown against Musumika Rachel, on 20th April a match where valuable points are on the line for both fighters. With aspirations to climb the ranks and compete at a higher level, Grace is gearing up for her fifth professional fight, drawing upon her keen analysis of her opponent’s weaknesses.
Under the guidance of her coach Warren Kanyike, Grace has been undergoing rigorous training sessions focused on conditioning and building strength. Both Grace and her team have studied Rachel’s style, intending to capitalize on any openings they discover during the fight.
Currently ranked number 3 in Uganda, Grace, the daughter of the legendary Ugandan boxer Sam Rukundo Sentamu, a two-time Olympic victor is close to overtaking the number 2 spot, with victory in this bout offering a clear path to advancement. With a global ranking of 46, a win could significantly impact her status, earning her additional stars and boosting her prize money.
