Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has dismissed reports linking him to the Manchester City job as “100% speculation,” reaffirming his commitment to his contract which runs until 2029.
Despite Chelsea’s strong form—sitting fourth in the Premier League and reaching the Carabao Cup semi-finals—Maresca is facing questions regarding a rumored rift with club owners.
Following a cryptic comment last week about his “worst 48 hours” at the club, Maresca admitted he has not discussed the matter with sporting directors or owner Behdad Eghbali, though they continue to share the same building.
Maresca insists his focus is entirely on Chelsea despite his history as Pep Guardiola’s assistant.
He confirmed “absolutely” that he expects to remain at Stamford Bridge next season.
