Morocco’s Brahim Díaz has officially claimed the Puma Golden Boot at the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations 2025.
The Real Madrid star finished as the tournament’s top scorer with five goals, completing a historic double after also leading the scoring charts during the AFCON qualifiers.
Díaz displayed unmatched consistency throughout the campaign, finding the net against Comoros, Mali, Zambia, Tanzania and Cameroon.
By scoring in five separate matches, Díaz becomes one of the most prolific Moroccan players in AFCON history.
Although the Atlas Lions ultimately fell short of the trophy, Díaz’s individual brilliance solidified his status as the tournament’s standout performer.
