Bayern Munich Open Extension Talks with Harry Kane
Bayern Munich have confirmed they are in negotiations with Harry Kane to extend the striker’s contract.
The 32-year-old England captain, who joined from Tottenham in 2023, has become an indispensable figure for the German giants, netting 119 goals in 126 appearances.
Sporting director Max Eberl confirmed the talks in Frankfurt, stating, “We’re talking to Harry… at some point a decision has to be made.”
Kane has flourished in Munich, winning the 2024-25 Bundesliga title and currently chasing Robert Lewandowski’s single-season record of 41 goals.
With 34 goals already this season under Vincent Kompany, Kane recently admitted his desire to return to the Premier League has faded as his family has settled in Germany.
Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen noted there is “no reason to rush,” citing Kane’s high level of comfort and confidence in the club’s project.
