The Uganda Table Tennis Association has held a strategic engagement meeting with coaches as it steps up preparations for the 2026 season.
The association’s executive technical team met with 30 coaches to align priorities and shape key programs aimed at advancing the sport nationally. The session focused on reviewing existing structures, identifying growth areas, and setting clear development goals for the upcoming season.
According to the association, contributions from the coaches provided valuable input that will guide program implementation and strengthen pathways for player and coach development.
The engagement also helped align stakeholders around shared objectives for performance, grassroots growth, and technical capacity building.
UTTA says the meeting marks an important step as it moves to implement the agreed priorities during the 2026 season, with a renewed focus on sustainable growth and coordinated planning across all levels of the sport.
