Nottingham Forest have dismissed head coach Sean Dyche after just 114 days in charge.
Thee move comes following a 0-0 draw with bottom-club Wolves, leaving Forest only three points above the relegation zone with 12 games left.
Dyche, who took over from Ange Postecoglou in October, is the third manager to be fired by owner Evangelos Marinakis this season.
Forest are now set to become the first Premier League club to employ four permanent managers in a single campaign.
Dyche won seven of his first 12 games but managed only two wins in his last 10.
Despite spending £180m and qualifying for the Europa League last season, the club is currently in a relegation dogfight and out of both domestic cups.
The dismissal comes at a critical juncture; Forest face Fenerbahce in the Europa League knockout stage next Thursday.
Pundits, including Alan Shearer, have criticized the move, suggesting Dyche’s “know-how” was the club’s best chance at survival.
