Novak Djokovic believes world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz is fully equipped to continue his perfect 13-0 start to the 2026 season.
Following his win over Grigor Dimitrov on Saturday, Alcaraz has already secured titles at the Australian Open—where he became the youngest man to complete a career Grand Slam—and the ATP Qatar Open.
Djokovic, who famously started 2011 with 41 straight wins, says the 22-year-old Spaniard has the “adaptability and fitness” to keep the streak alive.
“He can do it,” Djokovic said. “If he keeps his body healthy, he’s so good that he can win any tournament he plays in.”
The two stars are currently on a collision course for a potential semifinal showdown at Indian Wells.
